Liquid Edge groups strategies into Conservative Tech and Aggressive Tech tiers. The names describe the risk posture, not a quality ranking — they help you match a strategy to your risk tolerance and account size.
Conservative Tech#
Conservative strategies prioritize steadiness over maximum returns:
- Lower risk per trade and more selective entries.
- Suited to smaller accounts and traders who want a gentler ride.
- Where most users should start. The free and entry tiers focus here.
Aggressive Tech#
Aggressive strategies pursue larger opportunities and accept more variance to do it:
- Higher risk per trade, more frequent or larger positions, and deeper drawdowns along the way.
- Suited to larger accounts and traders comfortable with bigger swings.
- Unlocked on higher plans, and typically limited in number at first — see Plans & Pricing.
How to choose#
- Match your risk tolerance honestly. Aggressive strategies can have larger drawdowns; only run what you can hold through without panic-closing.
- Match your account size. A larger swing is easier to absorb on a larger, well-funded account.
- Start conservative, then scale. Prove your comfort with conservative strategies and paper trading before adding aggressive ones.
