Hyperliquid is an onchain perpetuals exchange. Connecting it to Liquid Edge follows the same non-custodial principle as any other venue: your funds stay in your own Hyperliquid account, and Liquid Edge only sends trade instructions.
How it differs from a centralized exchange#
Because Hyperliquid is onchain, connection uses an API/agent wallet you authorize rather than a traditional exchange API key. That authorized wallet can place and manage trades on your account — but it is scoped to trading and cannot withdraw your funds. As with any connection, you can revoke it at any time.
What you'll do (once live)#
- Fund your Hyperliquid account as you normally would — funds stay there.
- Authorize a trading-only agent for Liquid Edge from your Hyperliquid account.
- Paste the connection details into Liquid Edge and wait for Active status.
