Creating a Liquid Edge account takes a minute and costs nothing. Your account is where you manage exchange connections and strategies — it never holds your funds, which stay on your own exchange.

1. Sign up#
Go to the sign-up page and register with your email address and a strong, unique password. Use a password you don't reuse anywhere else, and consider a password manager.
2. Verify your email#
Liquid Edge sends a verification link to the address you used. Open it to confirm your account. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and confirm you entered the address correctly.
3. First login#
Log in with your email and password. Right after your first login, do two things:
- Enable 2FA — add two-factor authentication before you connect anything. See Enabling 2FA.
- Connect an exchange — link your trading account with a trade-only API key. See Connecting an Exchange.
What your account can and can't touch#
Your Liquid Edge account manages settings, connections, and strategies. It does not hold or control your funds — those live in your own exchange account and move only when a strategy places a trade there. For the full model, see the Security Model.
